MEET THE TEAM

Leah

Leah began her journey with Team United 2 years ago when she transitioned out of the world of education and took a risk to bet on herself. Armed with confidence in her abilities, in her work ethic, and in her eagerness to learn, Leah pursued the opportunity to build on her work year over year, turning it into a career that can stretch for a lifetime. Leah believes that having the right amount of discipline to take care of business goes hand-in-hand with having freedom to pursue interests and lead a full and happy life. She loves to travel, and even had the chance to visit over 15 countries outside the United States while spending time with family. You may find her at the office to have a great conversation about enjoyable books, fun games, or a shared love of dogs. However, since she is one of our giants on the sales floor, she takes crucial time and energy to pour into her team because she loves to give back from the success that she has achieved herself. For Leah, giving back is giving forward, and to change your life takes only humility and effort, which is why she leads her team with a fierce joy for life and an unstoppable will to achieve greatness.

Mike

A little over 4 years ago, Mike moved from Knoxville to Nashville in pursuit of feeling called to do more with his life. Then, he began his career with Team United, where he has become a man who serves his faith, his clients, and his team with equal passion. He is a through and through definition of a servant leader who believes in both sides of the leadership coin: being kind with people while also challenging people to grow beyond what they think they’re capable of. He lives that example of pushing the boundaries of what can be built with enough patience and enough work, especially if you manage to catch him in the gym lifting more than you. Over his years working with Team United, he has been often recognized for his unstoppable will to build bigger and better, his patience to help anyone in need of growth and development, and his heart that guides our weekly optional prayer group. Few match the subtle tenacity of Mike’s overflowing patience, generosity, and commitment to excellence.

Neil

Neil, A.K.A Mr. Positivity, began his journey with Team United more than 6 years ago, spurred on by a mentor that showed Neil how to walk a rewarding and life-long career path. Since that spark of inspiration, he has been pursuing personal and professional growth for himself, as well as for his team. Neil is a fantastic example of true leadership, investing time and energy in his team, pursuing skill development and education, and passing along lessons of wisdom just as his mentor did for him. Neil exemplifies our culture of giving back to the next person by going above and beyond for his team at every opportunity. If you catch him in the office, he will probably remind you that the only ceiling here is how far up your eyes can see, that the challenges we face daily are just hurdles to become better for having overcome them, and that you can change your circumstances to pursue a better life with the right attitude and the right people around you.

Nathan

Nathan is a Nashville native, but started the early portion of his career path in Texas working in the oil industry. However, after wanting to be closer to family and build a career that feels like his calling, Nathan found himself starting with Team United Consulting more than 2 years ago. Since his beginning, Nathan blew by personal goals, milestones, and production goals, surpassing more than $2 million in issued business in well under his 2 year tenure, but you may not notice at first because he likes to speak with his actions instead of words. Nathan entered leadership in his 2nd year, with his focus shifting to how to give back to his team the same way Team United has given to him. He exemplifies humility, drive, and generosity to the highest degree with a focus on how to build enjoyable careers for his team, where you can put in the work and have a great time as you watch yourself whirlwind by your goals. Even with a newer team, you can often find Nathan and his people ringing out the gong of success (an office staple of ours), and having a blast being there for each other through thick and thin at the same time!

Harley

Harley moved to Nashville, TN 4 years ago from California. In a new town with new people, she took some advice from her dad and accepted a job with Team United. In her first year, Harley was able to face the challenges in her life, both personal and professional, and turned the stressful circumstance of moving to a new city into the foundation of a life-long career pursuing excellence and serving others. Harley can often be seen around the office helping her team do the exact same as she did, developing their new careers and achieving their own dreams by taking care of individuals and families. For Harley, team success is personal success, so she will help her people face their own obstacles, rise above them, and come out the other side having achieved more than they ever thought they could. Harley often reminds us that the most difficult circumstances are kernels of opportunity waiting to be seized by someone with the right mindset!

Tommy

Tommy has been with our company for over 3 years, and he provides an excellent example for how to put the clients’ needs first. Tommy began his journey with Team United when he decided to take a leap of faith and trust that he could count on his own hard work, dedication, and talent to guide him toward the life he dreamed of building. Since then, few compare to his knowledge of the business, and he uses that knowledge every day to meet families where they are, talk with them to address the challenges they face, and remain a servant to his clients well beyond a simple sale. With this attitude, Tommy managed to sweep the benchmark of $1 million in issued business in a calendar year, and deserves the awards and recognition he received for how he serves his clients ethically, personally, and professionally. Now, Tommy pours back into his team by helping to coach anyone who asks, support anyone who needs, and help everyone that he can!

Nicholas

Nicolas has spent over a decade assisting and educating clients in a service-oriented role. His approach is centered around customer education, achieving results, and building connections. Nicolas has been in sales since his transition out of the service industry. Very few people portray the “sales” role better than Nicolas Sturm. He began working for the company first in 2019, after the birth of his first son, and knew this was where his heart needed to be. He has now written north of $3 million in annualized volume during his time with the company.

Garrett

Garrett Montague holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a focus in Economics and Finance. After college, he worked in corporate finance for 5 years where he received multiple awards for portfolio growth and sales. His passion has always been helping others, which is how he began this opportunity of helping his clients with their needs. Garrett has worked in the benefits and human resource since early 2017, and has received multiple awards and recognition for outstanding sales and service to his clients.

Cody

Cody was born and raised in College Grove, TN. He has spent over a decade serving the Middle Tennessee community with a background in landscape, grading and drainage management. He maintains a high level of knowledge in equipment operations, but had a strong desire to help others on a larger scale. Since joining Team United in 2019 Cody has surpassed $1.5 Million dollars of lifetime annualized volume. His clientele approach is centered around the best interest of the customer, building connections, and achieving results. Cody is proud to work for a company where he can make a difference each and every day.

Joe

As a Nashville native, Joe has witnessed the pains of city growth and has experienced some of those growing pains in his personal career as well. In 2012, Joe had experienced the tough times of being a business owner during a recession and decided it was time for a career change. Joes career change had some goals: a dynamic office culture, a career that helps others, and financial security – a career with income growth and residual income. Nine years later, he has intertwined those personal goals, experiences and his good-natured personality into a career that allows him to assist Team United peers and clients with decisions that impact their future, and he loves it!
